Spring is here! Spring reminds me that winter is behind us (the cold, ice, snow; the sweaters, and the heavy winter coats). With the life that spring brings, once again the birds will be singing, the flowers bloom, grass turns deep green, and outdoor activities flourish.

As we enjoy F.U.N. this year … This season is an excellent time to spring into action with our families, bringing spiritual - as well as physical - unity, knowing that our Lord has newness for every one we love. Spring is that time to renew and clean our homes. Well, at Duluth Church, we experienced the three of four facelifts to our facility. The handicap accessible bathrooms are now open! The new sign has arrived and is operating. Even as this is being printed, the exterior of our church and gym is being painted.

This quarter we will journey into “Coming Alive in Christ”. During this pilgrimage it is my prayerful hope that we will know Jesus, God’s Son, in a more personal, authentic, and intimate reality.

Join the KidsVenture Children’s Choir on April 13th (10:45am service) for their presentation of “I Can Only Imagine.” Our children will musically and artistically minister an impacting message about what heaven is going to be like.

Invite our families to join Duluth Church as we celebrate Mother’s Day, May 11th. This is a special day reserved to honor the ladies of our family of fellowship. Also, our second Sunday evening ladies revival will begin May 4th, followed by the 18th, and 25th. During this time of refreshing we will have different lady ministers, bringing anointed messages from His Word.

Men… your day will be June 12th at 10:45 AM, to receive God’s message for the Men of our congregation. Men will be challenged, encouraged, and commissioned to answer the call that Jesus wants to proclaim to our men at Duluth.

My prayer is that Christ will shake and stir us, still our hearts so that we can hear the still, small voice of our Lord and Savior. Join me this quarter to set aside a special time each day to seek the Lord in intercessory prayer for our Community. Let’s ask God to save souls at Duluth Church this next quarter.
